Baby Jogger City Select 2
The City Select 2 stroller was released in the summer of 2021. replacing the previous City Select and City Select Lux strollers. It offers 24 different seating options and can convert into a triple stroller by the addition of the glider board (second seat and car seat separately). The stroller folds 20% smaller than the previous models and weighs just five pounds less. It also comes with a wide range of accessories like the belly bar (included with the Eco Collection version), the second seat, a handmuff for parents and a console for parents.
Most of our parent testers liked the large storage basket that can fit a lot of gear. The seats reclined effortlessly and there was plenty of legroom for the kids. The brake pedal is easily accessible and can be operated with one hand. While the stroller is a little long and harder to maneuver, it's worth the extra space for parents who appreciate roomy strollers.
The City Select 2 is also compatible with Baby Jogger infant car seats, Britax, Graco Chicco Maxi-Cosi, Graco (adapters are available separately). This means you can choose to use a single or double stroller for your baby from birth until the age of toddler.
This stroller is not inexpensive, but it's likely to be the only stroller you'll have to purchase so if you can afford it, we believe it's worth the cost. Particularly when you consider the top quality and sturdy construction. The finish looks great and the fabric connections feel strong without looking rough. The 5-point harness snaps together quickly, has a number of adjustment options and feels comfortable to wear for children of all sizes. The seat cover is machine washable with cold water. Most testers said it was super easy to take off and reattach.
Delta Children LX Side-by-Side
If you're looking for a double stroller that's easy carry and fits into tight spaces such as a tight space, the Delta Children LX Side by Side is a good choice. The stroller weighs 20 pounds in weight and can carry children up to 50 lbs each. The canopy is large enough to shield against the elements of wind, sun and rain, while the seats can recline for children their comfort. The stroller is slightly shorter than the majority of others in our tests and can be opened to a 29-inch width which allows it to fit into the standard doorways of 30 inches.
This product earned a low score for ease of use in our test, but this is partly because it's so basic It doesn't have storage bins, or a deep recline in the seats and the only parent cup holder is a tiny plastic container on the handlebars. It does have a 5-point harness with double-rethread buckles, that are much easier to adjust than the single-rethread buckles on the majority of other strollers.
During the testing, we evaluated the ease with which we could turn, fold, and maneuver the products. Folding and unfolding are two of the most important features of travel strollers because they typically have limited storage space inside the trunk of cars. Products that fold quickly and in a couple of steps scored better, as did those with automatic locks. Strollers that fold by one hand and stand up when folded also scored well.
The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 was the easiest to turn and push. The Mountain Buggy Nano took a bit more effort, but performed well in our tests. The brand new Delta Children LX side by side is extremely lightweight with an easy-to-fold frame that's as small as a few of the top umbrella strollers. Its bare-bones design and wallet-friendly price make it a great choice for parents seeking an easy-to-use stroller to carry, lift, and store.
